incorrect jaw position, problems with swallowing and mastication, and growth problems.
Well-aligned teeth will perform better and are much easier to clean. Getting an attention-grabbing smile increases self-esteem, improves dental health and your quality of life.

Orthodontic Consultation

An orthodontic consultation consists of a complete visual examination of your teeth, as well as X-rays of your teeth and jaws. Following this examination, our team will explain the various options available to you to effectively correct your problem.

We always do our best to provide our patients with discreet and comfortable care, when their situation allows. When we explain these different options to you, we also inform you of the associated costs. With a good understanding of each of these elements, you will then be in a position to make an informed decision. When treatment is for a patient under the age of 16, your general dentist in Gatineau (Hull area) will take the time to explain the procedures and hygiene rules to the parents so that the treatment can proceed normally.

We want our patients to understand that the earlier they see an orthodontist, the better their chances of saving a lot of money by avoiding future problems that can affect their oral and overall health.

Treatments

Our dental clinic uses the Tip-Edge system, which is a smaller orthotics, available in your teeth color, more pleasant and much easier to clean. We also offer orthodontic treatments without orthotics such as Invisalign. Almost 75% of teeth alignment problems can be treated with Invisalign clear trays produced from an impression of your teeth. However, depending on the position of your teeth, a more visible dental approach may be necessary.

Invisalign

Invisalign's brace-free technology has been a huge success in orthodontics, as it can treat nearly 75% of teeth alignment problems without the use of metal braces. Invisalign technology uses a series of removable, transparent aligners that are custom-made based on the patient's teeth impressions. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by a new one to gradually change the alignment of the patient's teeth until the desired result is achieved. In addition to the high level of discretion offered by clear aligners, the fact that they are removable also has many advantages for the patient. They can be removed when eating, brushing teeth, and flossing. This means that patients do not need to change their habits and can take care of their oral health without any problems!

Le système Tip-Edge

The Tip-Edge System

This system uses smaller brackets than those used with traditional braces. They contain a small arch that holds the wire connecting each bracket. This eliminates the need for ligatures to hold the wire in place, as is the case with traditional braces. This results in less friction, which greatly improves patient comfort and shortens treatment time. The brackets used with the Tip-Edge system are available in a color that matches the color of your teeth, which means they are discreet to wear. In addition, brackets designed with this system are easier to clean, reducing the risk of plaque and food debris buildup, which can lead to tooth decay and gum disease.
